Reunited — it went back to its owner or their family.

Sorting a box of donations at the Second Chance Book Nook in East Liverpool, Ohio, volunteer Lois Barnett found $500 in $50 bills between the pages. It belonged to Kenny and Judy Russell of Salem. Judy had tucked money borrowed from her son into the book she was reading and forgot it; relatives later donated the box without knowing. The man who dropped the box off helped return it.
