When we show you where to buy a book — in the Hunt List, Shelf Scan, Edition Detective or on a book page — some of those links are affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one, the seller may pay us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra.
What this does not change
- We sort offers by price, condition and relevance — never by commission.
- We show sellers we don’t earn from alongside those we do.
- Reviews, finds and stories on the site are written by readers and are never paid for.
How to spot them
Affiliate links open in a new tab and are marked as sponsored to search engines. Where a price or listing comes from a particular marketplace, we name it next to the offer.
Commissions help keep the daily games, the Reading Room and the Atlas free for everyone. Thank you for supporting an independent paper.
