Reunited — it went back to its owner or their family.
Oklahoma City teacher Emma Smreker spends weekends in used bookstores looking for forgotten keepsakes, which she shares on her Instagram account, In Used Books. One book held a photo-booth strip of a man and a small girl pulling faces. Clues such as a golf-course logo on his shirt went nowhere for more than a year, until a San Antonio TV segment reached the family. Tom Meagher and his daughter Sofia had posed for it on a Santa Cruz pier thirteen years earlier; her mother had used it as a bookmark and sold the book by mistake.
