Tucked inside Better Homes and Gardens Sewing Book
A copy of the Better Homes and Gardens Sewing Book from an East Texas yard sale held a typed, anonymous note postmarked 1968. Addressed to “Dear Debbie”, it scolded her for how she had behaved in church, warned that people were watching, and was signed, with remarkable nerve, “Love, A friend.”
The finder shared it on Reddit, where readers argued over who Debbie was and who had written it. Nobody has come forward.
