Reunited — it went back to its owner or their family.
On her first day volunteering at Sterling Heights Public Library in Michigan, Helen Poniatowski was leafing through a used book when a wedding photograph fell out, dated September 26, 1953.
The library posted it on Facebook as a “Lost & Found love story”. Sarah Ruggirello recognised her grandparents — first-generation Sicilian Americans who were married for 67 years and raised five children — and collected the photograph to frame at home.
